Wow does time fly

It's been almost a year since I've updated this!! Not only has so much happened in a year but we are getting ready to add a new addition to our erixon family!!

Lysi

Lysi is dancing again this year and is beginning to be so advanced! Competitions start next month. I will post the dates and locations under kids activities! She got a new phone for her birthday this year, it's a talk and txt only phone. She is proving that she can be responsible and old enough to follow the rules and guide lines of having the that kind of responsibility!!

Braxton
This last year brax has done baseball, football, basketball and wrestling! He is one busy kid and keeps us running everywhere!! He loved football and I believe we are now part of the football world!! He is also now part of the Bountiful Children's Chior!! He loves singing and is now part of a group that teaches him and that he can perform with.

Kaden
This year he hasn't really tried a whole lot. But this year we are signing him up for all the sports so he can at least say he tried them. He says he doesn't like them but when he goes to Braxton's practices or he's there when Craig is working with Braxton he always gets involved and likes to do it to!! We just don't think he knows he likes them because he's never really tried them!! But this year will be different!

Taygan
Baby Taygan will be coming soon!! We are scheduled to have her on March 17th. On one hand I hope she doesn't come earlier cuz I really want her to be a St. Patties baby. But on the other hand I'm getting soo miserable!!

Lysi's coach talked to me after the last competition. She would like me to tell ALL of you to please NOT come into the dressing area. That you are more than welcome to come congratulate her on the good job between each routine as she's walking from the staging area to the dressing room. But that then she needs to get changed and then be left with her team focusing on her next routine and focus on being a team member. Even I leave the dressing room after she is dressed and ready for her next routine. She was distracted last competition and it showed in her dancing and apparently Craig and I were not the only ones that noticed!! I pay a lot for Lysi to have this opportunity dancing for a advanced team, and Lysi works her but off to get where she is!!

Please try and be understanding and please be respectful to Lysi so she gets the best experience that she deserves!!

April 2012

Hey guys, well Braxton finished his wrestling and did awesome!! He won exactly half of his matches and when he won them he killed it!! He will have his first Baseball tryouts Monday the 9th and will start games this month!! Lysi has started her competition season!! She so far has always gotten 2nd or 1st on her dances!! We have some amazing pictures that I will be posting soon!! Kaden has started soccer practice and will begin having game this month!! look on activities if you want to come and support these kids in their events..!!

Family Update February 2012

Nothing really is different with Me and Craig were still just as happy as can be and so in love.

The kids are busy all the time.

Lysi is now 10. She is now on a advanced competition dance team! Since making this team she has improved so much, not only in her dancing but her attitude and self confidence. She will be competing 3 different routines at many competitions starting in March. If you click on Kids Activities tab above you can get the schedual of the competitions she will be competing at, however the times she dances we wont know till we get there the day of competition. And keep in mind that she is dancing 3 different dances so time will be sparatic and they wont all be by each other.

Braxton is now 9. He is doing awesome at making friends and having better self esteme. His attitude has changed so much were so proud of him. He still loves football and is determined to play it this next fall. For now he is going to be starting art lessons and then baseball in the spring! As soon as we find out the schedual for his baseball games i will post them under the kids activities so keep watching for those dates and locations. Also as soon as art class starts and he brings home projects I will be posting those pictures under the picture tabs.

Kaden is now 7. This September he will be baptized. He's just barely getting into video games. He loves the kennect games and the lego games. He's doing so much better at his reading he sounds out the big words so much better also. Kaden will be starting Soccer this spring and maybe swimming in the summer we'll see!! Once again check back and I will put those dates and locations under Kids Activities. He had to do a animal report for school this weekend and under the pictures tab you can find a picture and information of what he did.

Braxton and Craig HUNTING

Braxton and Craig when hunting with Grandpa Jerry and Landen. Each year Grandpa Jerry takes the grandsons that are 8 and older hunting with him, if their fathers are willing to go. This year Braxton was old enough to go, and Craig wanted to go. Landen wanted to go but Mike couldn't cuz of work so they decided since two adults were going to be there he was fine!! Braxton was so excited, we'll see when he gets back if they got a deer. And if they got a deer, then it will be interesting to see how he did seeing the deer alive, then dead, then gutting it, ect....

Next year Kaden will be old enough to go. He on the other hand is the one that worries me more about the shock of that than any of the grand kids. He loves animals and the thought of a animal even getting hurt saddens him. I can't imagine his reactions actually seeing a live deer get shot. So we will see if he decides to go next year or not!!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to Black Island Farms pumpkin patch with my preschool, We let the kids skip school to come, and they absolutely loved it!! We got to ride on the tractor ride out to where the pumpkins were. Then they each got to pick out a pumpkin. We then went to the play area where there were hay slides and bounce houses, and a Corn Maze. We didn't go in the corn maze this time, but we got bounce back passes and will be going back solely to go through the corn maze!!

Made the Bountiful Stars! She will be competing on a a advance level at competitions. She wants to do a solo, but we will see how things go!!

    She is doing great in school and loves her teacher! She was on KSL singing with her class. Big Budah came and talked with the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders!!

Braxton

Is in fall Baseball. His team is the Yankee's he is one of their best hitters. He hits the ball everytime he is up to bat! He also recieved him Wolf Badge in Scouts and is doing great in school also! He loves his teacher and has lots of friends in his class!!

Kaden

Is in fall Soccer, he gets in there and gets the ball everytime he plays. He makes plenty of goals and loves just playing and having friends. He had his birthday party, we rented a bounce house and invited all the neighborhood friends, and some school friends! He is such a happy go lucky little guy!!

Update on Kids

Lysi got 4th place at the Dixie Jam Competition in St. George! She did awesome and is such a great dancer! She can't wait to go to a more advanced team next year where she will not only be competing with her team, but she will also be doing a duo and a solo at all the competitions!!

Braxton's first soccer game got canceled last week cuz of the rain. But he went to practice on Saturday, and he is one of the only 2 boys on his team!! He loves that fact that he is with a bunch of girls!! He is excited to hopefully play at his next game!!

Kaden played his first game of Soccer and loved it! He said "Soccer is the best ever". He did great at going and getting the ball, he even made a goal for his team!! The game ended in a tie and everyone was happy!!

This week Lysi has a performance at Foxboro Elementary and the boys both have their scheduled soccer games!!
