Family Update February 2012

Nothing really is different with Me and Craig were still just as happy as can be and so in love.

The kids are busy all the time.

Lysi is now 10. She is now on a advanced competition dance team! Since making this team she has improved so much, not only in her dancing but her attitude and self confidence. She will be competing 3 different routines at many competitions starting in March. If you click on Kids Activities tab above you can get the schedual of the competitions she will be competing at, however the times she dances we wont know till we get there the day of competition. And keep in mind that she is dancing 3 different dances so time will be sparatic and they wont all be by each other.

Braxton is now 9. He is doing awesome at making friends and having better self esteme. His attitude has changed so much were so proud of him. He still loves football and is determined to play it this next fall. For now he is going to be starting art lessons and then baseball in the spring! As soon as we find out the schedual for his baseball games i will post them under the kids activities so keep watching for those dates and locations. Also as soon as art class starts and he brings home projects I will be posting those pictures under the picture tabs.

Kaden is now 7. This September he will be baptized. He's just barely getting into video games. He loves the kennect games and the lego games. He's doing so much better at his reading he sounds out the big words so much better also. Kaden will be starting Soccer this spring and maybe swimming in the summer we'll see!! Once again check back and I will put those dates and locations under Kids Activities. He had to do a animal report for school this weekend and under the pictures tab you can find a picture and information of what he did.

Braxton and Craig HUNTING

Braxton and Craig when hunting with Grandpa Jerry and Landen. Each year Grandpa Jerry takes the grandsons that are 8 and older hunting with him, if their fathers are willing to go. This year Braxton was old enough to go, and Craig wanted to go. Landen wanted to go but Mike couldn't cuz of work so they decided since two adults were going to be there he was fine!! Braxton was so excited, we'll see when he gets back if they got a deer. And if they got a deer, then it will be interesting to see how he did seeing the deer alive, then dead, then gutting it, ect....

Next year Kaden will be old enough to go. He on the other hand is the one that worries me more about the shock of that than any of the grand kids. He loves animals and the thought of a animal even getting hurt saddens him. I can't imagine his reactions actually seeing a live deer get shot. So we will see if he decides to go next year or not!!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to Black Island Farms pumpkin patch with my preschool, We let the kids skip school to come, and they absolutely loved it!! We got to ride on the tractor ride out to where the pumpkins were. Then they each got to pick out a pumpkin. We then went to the play area where there were hay slides and bounce houses, and a Corn Maze. We didn't go in the corn maze this time, but we got bounce back passes and will be going back solely to go through the corn maze!!

Lysi

Made the Bountiful Stars! She will be competing on a a advance level at competitions. She wants to do a solo, but we will see how things go!!

    She is doing great in school and loves her teacher! She was on KSL singing with her class. Big Budah came and talked with the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders!!

Braxton

Is in fall Baseball. His team is the Yankee's he is one of their best hitters. He hits the ball everytime he is up to bat! He also recieved him Wolf Badge in Scouts and is doing great in school also! He loves his teacher and has lots of friends in his class!!

Kaden

Is in fall Soccer, he gets in there and gets the ball everytime he plays. He makes plenty of goals and loves just playing and having friends. He had his birthday party, we rented a bounce house and invited all the neighborhood friends, and some school friends! He is such a happy go lucky little guy!!

Update on Kids

Lysi got 4th place at the Dixie Jam Competition in St. George! She did awesome and is such a great dancer! She can't wait to go to a more advanced team next year where she will not only be competing with her team, but she will also be doing a duo and a solo at all the competitions!!

Braxton's first soccer game got canceled last week cuz of the rain. But he went to practice on Saturday, and he is one of the only 2 boys on his team!! He loves that fact that he is with a bunch of girls!! He is excited to hopefully play at his next game!!

Kaden played his first game of Soccer and loved it! He said "Soccer is the best ever". He did great at going and getting the ball, he even made a goal for his team!! The game ended in a tie and everyone was happy!!

This week Lysi has a performance at Foxboro Elementary and the boys both have their scheduled soccer games!!
